Make a practical inventory
Record the product, the account owner, the renewal date and where the applicable license terms are stored. Include plugins, fonts and design assets as well as hosting and development tools.
Ask before handover
Clarify which accounts transfer, which subscriptions the client must create and which assets have usage restrictions. Keep copies of relevant purchase records in the project’s approved storage.
Review the actual terms
Permissions differ between products and plans. Consult the vendor’s current terms for the specific license, and get qualified advice where interpretation matters. A project checklist is not a legal determination of what a license permits.
